La Provence - photo collection

Nîmes

Photo above - a portrait of rural life in the South and the way the Roman influences are still present...

In 4 to 5 days me and Gwen explored what seem to be some of the coolest places in the south of France. From Europe's most complete medieval fortress to a Roman amphitheatre still housing events and bullfights (yes, there happen in France too - but the poor animal is treated well) to a Roman Temple in full structure with a museum inside! Lovely "pans au chocolat" whenever we could, the huge Palais des Papes and our riverside view of the famous bridge in fortified Avignon, where followed by a trip into the Côte D'Azur - Cassis -, to see the turqouise waters and a lovely scenery. Finally, we ended the day in the town of fountains - Aix-en Provence "Ex"!

A flight from Marseille airport allowed me to have a great view over the rugged coast in one of the few moments of sun that week... :)
Despite the weather, it was a great trip. A special thank you to my driver... :))!!

See you in again very soon beautiful France... :)
À bientôt!
